James W. Eubanks, III, M.D.

Dr. Eubanks attended college at the University of Mississippi (Ole Miss), receiving a BS in Pharmacy. After studying medicine at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, MS, he went on to complete a general surgery residency at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis, TN in 2000. He then went on to complete a pediatric surgery fellowship at The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in 2002. Returning to Memphis, he joined Pediatric Surgical Group in 2002, which was acquired in 2012 by UT Le Bonheur Pediatric Specialists. Dr. Eubanks has served as Trauma Medical Director for Le Bonheur since 2004. He now serves as Chief of the Division of Pediatric Surgery. In addition, he holds the position as an Associate Professor of Surgery and Pediatrics at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center.

Dr. Eubanks is currently a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, a Member of the Eastern Association for the Surgery of Trauma, a Member of the American Pediatric Surgical Association, a Member of the International Pediatric Endosurgery Group, and a Member of the Society of Critical Care Medicine.
