Spring 2017 Cancer Research Conference
Registration Deadline Extended!
The registration deadline for the Spring 2017 Cancer Research Conference has been extended to Monday, April 24, 2017 at 5pm CDT!
Please join the cancer researchers of the University of Tennessee Health Science Center (UTHSC), the West Cancer Center and the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) at the Spring 2017 Cancer Research Conference. The conference will be held on Tuesday, May 2, 2017, at The Freeman Auditorium (930 Madison Ave., 3rd floor, Memphis, TN 38163) from 10:00 am – 3:30 pm. UTHSC, in partnership with the West Cancer Center, has organized this event to bring together our cancer researchers with those from UAMS, allowing them to share their research interests, and catalyze new collaborative partnerships. This year's conference will feature talks from cancer researchers at both universities as well as a poster presentation session.
Registration is now open for the Conference via UTHSC’s InfoReady Review website. To register, please see the registration instructions below. The registration deadline is Monday, April 24, 2017. If others in your group would like to attend the Conference, please have them register through the InfoReady Review website.
As part of your registration, you will be asked to respond to several questions regarding your research interests. The data you provide will allow us to create a secure, searchable database using Google Sheets, where cancer investigators from each campus can search for and view research profiles of conference attendees. Upon completion of your registration, you will receive an email confirmation that includes a link to the researcher database, along with directions on how to use it.
How to Register for the 2017 Cancer Research Conference:
1. Visit UTHSC's InfoReady Review website
2. Click "Log In" in the upper right corner of the screen (in the green area):
- For UTHSC Registrants: (a) Click blue box "University of Tennessee Health Science Center Login", (b) Log in using UTHSC Net ID and Password, (c) Before registering, you must select your primary organization by following the directions in step #3 below.
- For UAMS Registrants: (a) In box labeled "Login for Other Users" (below blue UTHSC login), click on "Register" (located at the bottom of the box), to create an IRR account, (b) Fill in required account information. Be sure to enter your UAMS email address (UAMS.edu is the only accepted domain for UAMS registrants), (c) After creating your account, log in using the box labeled "Login for Other Users", (d) Before registering, you must select your primary organization by following the directions in step #3 below.
- For West Cancer Center Registrants: (a) In box labeled "Login for Other Users" (below blue UTHSC login), click on "Register" (located at the bottom of the box), to create an IRR account, (b) Fill in required account information. Be sure to enter your West Cancer Center email (westclinic.com is the only accepted domain for West registrants), (c) Before registering, you must select your primary organization by following the directions in step #3 below.
3. You must select your primary organization before beginning registration: After logging in: (a) Click on your name in upper right. This will take you to your User Profile. (b) Scroll down to Organizational Levels, and click "Add Primary Organization". (c) Choose your affiliation from the drop-down menu. (d) Click "Save and Close". (e) Click "Save Changes" at the bottom of User Profile page. (f) Click “Home” (orange writing under green bar) in upper left of the screen to return to the home page.
4. Once on homepage: Click “Spring 2017 Cancer Research Conference” at the bottom of the page, (b) Click "Apply" in right column, (c) Enter all required information in fields that are marked with an asterisk (*). You will not be able to submit your registration without filling out all asterisk marked fields. If a required field (*) does not apply to you, please enter "none" in the field. Upon completion of registration, you will receive an email confirmation that includes a link to the researcher database, along with directions on how to use it.
