Why did you choose the University of Tennessee West Cancer Center: The people and the potential! I believe that our program offers some of the best clinical training and academic opportunities in the nation, and that our culture is one of the best to learn in. Being a resident at UT allows me to seize the opportunity to develop and lead in an academic program that will far outlive my career and will serve our patients for years to come. Our outstanding staff provides constant challenge and encouragement and is fantastic to learn from and work with. They lead us to be better every day for our patients, bring us alongside in their cutting edge research, and support us to create academic paths that fit our passions. It is a positive and formative culture — we work hard… but we have fun doing it!  Also, I enjoy beating Dr. Wang in ping pong.
