Kathy Latch Putman joined the University of Tennessee Health Science Center as an instructor in the BSN/MSN Program in July 2013. She received her BA from the University of Mississippi in 1980, her BSN from the Mississippi University for Women in 1989 and her MSN from the Clarkson College in 2002. She has been a member of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society, Tennessee Nursing Association, the Mississippi Nurses Association, the American Nursing Informatics Association (ANIA) and commissioned as a Parish/Faith-based nurse.
Ms. Putman is a distinguished nursing professional with over 25 years of experience, and author of Pharmacology Case Study Workbook which provides nursing students with an opportunity to apply pharmacology concepts to real-world situations. She is a contributor/consultant of Nursing Pharmacology Made Incredibly Easy! 3rd Edition; Lippincott Williams & Wilkins (2004).
