Health Workforce Development Grant
Memphis,
Tennessee (September 20, 2004) – The College of Nursing at the University of
Tennessee Health Science Center is one of 11 nursing schools statewide selected
by the Center for Health Workforce Development in Tennessee to share “Promise
of Nursing” grants totaling $244,000.
In addition to the UT Health Science
Center, the grants are earmarked for faculty development at Belmont University
School of Nursing, Chattanooga State Technical Community College, Columbia
State Community College, East Tennessee State University College of Nursing,
Jackson State Community College, Lincoln Memorial University, Milligan College
Area of Nursing, Motlow State Community College, Roane State Community College,
and Vanderbilt University School of
Nursing.

technology education, innovative curriculum development, fast-track nursing
