Selection of campus-wide curriculum mapping software (in conjunction with colleges) August 2013 Provides an application that meets the vast majority of all colleges’ curriculum mapping needs and also is technically robust, secure, scalable, and supportable
Work permit expiration notification August 2013 Automatically notifies an employee by email of an expiring work permit prior to expiration
MediaSite server upgrade August 2013 Increases functionality and storage space for archived lectures
Qualtrics survey tool September 2013 Expands campus’s survey functionality to an enterprise level, including ability to create secure surveys that collect protected health information; saves the university money by replacing university’s CoursEval and Survey Monkey tools
New IT security training September 2013 Ensures compliance with the March 2013 federal Omnibus Bill, which takes effect September 2013
Surplus property exchange system September 2013 (rollout date unknown) Facilitates utilization of non-surplused UTHSC items and direct exchange of surplus UT assets; frees up space in departments; eliminates need to move surplus items more than once; reduces amount of inventory warehoused in the Surplus department
Expanded user support for Nolij document management system October 2013 Provides additional support and training as well as more detailed web documentation for users interested in implementing online document management services for their offices & departments
ME mobile application: Phase 1 October 2013 Makes university information more easily accessible via smartphones and tablets
