Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) Training

The Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) of 1996 mandates significant changes in the legal and regulatory environments governing the provision of health benefits, the delivery and payment of healthcare services, and the security and confidentiality of individually identifiable, protected health information. This training is required for all faculty, staff and students.

FERPA

Federal Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) Training

The Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) (20 U.S.C. § 1232g; 34 CFR Part 99) is a Federal law that protects the privacy of student education records. The law applies to all schools that receive funds under an applicable program of the U.S. Department of Education. Employees who have access to student records are required to complete this training within 30 days of employment.
