Description: The University of Tennessee, Memphis, College of Dentistry, seeks nominations and applications for the position of Chair in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. The Chair of the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery has the responsibility for administration of all oral and maxillofacial surgery clinical facilities, the predoctoral teaching program in oral and maxillofacial surgery, and the advanced education program in oral and maxillofacial surgery. In addition, the Chair is responsible for promoting and providing leadership in departmental scholarly activity, service, and research.

Applicants must have a DDS/DMD degree and meet eligibility requirements for a Tennessee dental license. The candidate must be board certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. The successful candidate will be an individual with vision, sensitivity, and creativity regarding dental education, health care delivery, and research. Rank and salary commensurate with experience and qualifications. Screening of applicants? credentials will begin immediately, and will continue until the position is filled.
