Description: The UT Health Science Center, College of Nursing invites applications for the position of a full-time non-tenure track position as Pediatric DNP faculty in the Department of Health Promotion & Disease Prevention.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Teaching responsibilities include both didactic course work and clinical supervision of students. The UTHSC embraces four missions: education, research, clinical care and institutional service. Research/scholarship activities and institutional service responsibilities will be determined in collaboration with Department Chair.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Unencumbered licensure as a registered nurse and advanced practice nurse in Tennessee or eligibility to obtain licensure in Tennessee required, as well as certification/recertification as a Pediatric Primary Care Nurse Practitioner. Earned doctoral degree from an accredited university required. Substantive clinical expertise is required. Expertise in clinical teaching and active engagement in the appropriate professional organization is desired. Evidence of scholarship including research and/or grants is highly desirable. Academic rank commensurate with degree and experience.
