Description: The University of Tennessee Health Science Center, is seeking a full-time Physician at the academic rank of Assistant Professor or higher who will provide care in the Radiology Department at a University based hospital with a busy Level 1 Trauma service in Memphis TN. This position is for a physician working night shifts with 7 nights on (8pm to 8am), and 14 days off with no other responsibilities. Must be able to work with residents / fellows who may be on during the shift. Case mix is approximately 50% plain films, with the rest being made up of CT, US and MRI. Occasional Nuc. Med. Studies. No Mammography or IR is involved. Average number of studies is 180 per night with seasonal variation.

Compensation is consistent and comparable to other services in the region.

JOB REQURIEMENTS: Board certification or Board eligibility required, Completion of an accredited residency required and sub certifications/training highly preferred, Current unrestricted licensure as a Physician in Tennessee, Current certification DEA number, Eligible for malpractice insurance, Relocation is not required, however the work is on-site.
