Description: The Department of Endodontics in the College of Dentistry at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center invites applications for a tenure-eligible faculty appointment. The successful candidate will be an accomplished clinician-scientist with a commitment towards academic excellence and a drive to intellectual curiosity.

Responsibilities for this position include didactic and clinical instruction in contemporary endodontics for predoctoral and postdoctoral students. The university offers competitive salaries, moving allowances and other financial resources for an attractive start-up package. Salary and rank will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Candidates must have a DDS/DMD degree or foreign equivalent and be eligible for licensure in the State of Tennessee. They must also have completed a specialty education program in endodontics accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation and be educationally qualified, board eligible or a Diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics. Preference will be given to candidates with a Master of Science degree or PhD, and an established record of publications, previous research project management and/or funded research.
