Description: The University of Tennessee Health Science Center, Department of Clinical Pharmacy and Translational Science in the College of Pharmacy, is seeking nominations and applications for a full-time, non-tenure track faculty position at the assistant professor level.

Applications will be accepted from individuals with a PharmD degree. Residency training in community-based pharmacy or ambulatory care is preferred. Experience must include Medication Therapy Management (MTM) and community pharmacy practice, and a history of scholarly activity and teaching is preferred.

This position will serve as the Clinical Coordinator of the University of Tennessee Community-based Pharmacy Residency Program that encompasses 4 pharmacy sites. The faculty member will also assist the Director of Community Affairs and provide mentorship to students on entrepreneurship, intrapreneurship, and innovation and coordinate and/or teach in didactic courses (such as the Medication Therapy Management Course and Community Pharmacy Elective).

This position will not be based at an established community site but will be active in assisting to increase the level of clinical community pharmacy services and scholarship throughout the state. Faculty are expected to pursue scholarly activities, which include peer reviewed publications and presentations. Candidates with established expertise are encouraged to apply. The successful candidate is expected to have the ability to acquire extramural funding, a commitment to excellence in teaching, and excellent oral and written communication skills.
