Description: The University of Tennessee Health Science Center, Graduate School of Medicine, is seeking candidates for a full-time faculty appointment in the Department of Pathology. Located in Knoxville, Tennessee, the Graduate School of Medicine is a tertiary care referral facility for a population of 1.5 million people in east Tennessee, southeastern Kentucky, and western North Carolina. The candidate will be a member of the Department of Pathology teaching faculty and will hold an appointment in the Graduate School of Medicine. Rank and salary are competitive, and will be negotiated as appropriate based on the qualifications and experience of the selected candidate.

Required Qualifications: American Board of Pathology, AP/CP Board Certification; Medical Licensure in the State of Tennessee.

Responsibilities: Will provide general anatomic pathology and clinical pathology services with an emphasis on surgical pathology for the medical center. Will participate in the education of pathology residents, medical technologists, and medical staff. Will pursue research/ scholarly activity and services as appropriate for a faculty member.
