Description: The University of Tennessee Health Science Center, Department of Radiology seeks candidates for a full-time, non-tenure track academic position. The department is seeking a general pediatric radiologists who preferably has their CAQ. Subspecialty training beyond pediatric radiology is a plus but not a necessity. We prefer a pediatric radiologist with experience but will interview others, as well. We are seeking a Pediatric Neuro-Radiologist.

Le Bonheur Children's Hospital Department of Radiology is expanding services. The institution, part of University of Tennessee Radiology ranked nationally in multiple specialties according to US News & World Report. Le Bonheur is a 255 bed hospital with excellent imaging equipment and a current staff of 8 general pediatric radiologists. There are 2 neuro-radiologists. There are 3 interventionalists covering Le Bonheur and St. Jude Hospitals. Radiology also covers 60 more NICU beds at Regional One Hospital, and will cover a developing new outpatient facility in East Memphis/Germantown area in 2016. Le Bonheur is the pediatric arm of the University of Tennessee Health Science Center?s Department of Radiology but also a flagship hospital in the Methodist Le Bonheur Health Care system. It is a leading facility for pediatric neuroscience /neurosurgery and cardiac surgery in the tristate area of Arkansas, Mississippi and Tennessee and beyond. It is a level 1 trauma center which is doing major national research in infectious disease, tuberous sclerosis as well as nutritional health. Radiologists are involved in many aspects of clinical imaging research. Radiologists are involved in various aspects of medical student courses. There are electives in Radiology, Pediatric Radiology and Imaging Research. There are rotating residents from 2 Memphis programs. There are 5 UT/Le Bonheur pediatric imaging fellows.
