Description: The University of Tennessee Health Science Center, Department of Radiology is actively seeking applicants for a full-time, non-tenure track Assistant Professor in Interventional Radiology and Interventional Nephrology. This position will perform a variety of interventional radiology procedures in critically ill trauma and non-trauma patients. Procedures include, but not limited to non-coronary(incl. cerebral) angiogram, treatment of injured blood vessels by embolization and stent placements with minimal invasive percutaneous biopsies and drainages, percutaneous minimally invasive dialysis interventions in chronically ill renal failure patients, evaluating and reading x-rays, CT scans, MRIs and ultrasounds. The position will also require working with the Nephrology group at a vascular access center. Other duties will include and supervising residents and fellows in Interventional Radiology. Candidate must have CAW or be CAQ eligible.
