Description: The University of Tennessee Health Science Center, Department of Surgery in Memphis, TN is seeking non-tenure track faculty at the Assistant/Associate Professor rank for the University of Tennessee/Methodist University Transplant Institute to join our Abdominal Transplantation Program. Faculty rank is commensurate with experience and credentials. Candidates must be board certified/eligible and a graduate of an ASTS approved transplant surgery fellowship program. Also, must be able to obtain a Tennessee medical license. Surgeons must be experienced in liver and kidney transplantation and be able to perform these transplants independently. Pancreas transplant experience is also desired. In addition, demonstrated interest and experience in clinical or translational research is essential.
