The Division of General Internal Medicine is committed to enhance and support the mission of the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in the domains of education and patient care.

This mission is accomplished by providing exemplary patient care to outpatients and hospitalized patients in a wide variety of settings and maintaining an environment conducive to academic excellence. We are proud of our role in educating UT medical students and residents, and improving the health of the Midsouth community.
