Office of Medical Education

The Office of Medical Education is seeking two (2) current M1 students for summer employment. The successful candidates will help to develop the curriculum map in our new Learning Management System, eMedley. Information will be gathered from multiple sources, including CORE and faculty spreadsheets, and incorporated into the new system. Additional duties related to curriculum mapping with COM program objectives may be assigned.

Time commitment will require ~20 hours per week for 8 weeks (June-July). Work schedules are flexible but require approval by the Office of Medical Education.

An academic benefit of this work will be a review of material covered during your M1 year and a preview of M2 material. In addition, the successful candidates will have the option to use the work to develop a scholarly project intended to fulfill the research requirement of the Longitudinal Scholar’s Project (LSP). Design of a specific project will be based on student interest and UTHSC’s goals for program evaluation.
