HEI Congratulates 2016 Graduates and Awardees

Alumni/Residents' Day culminates with a celebration of our graduates. Mentors presented certificates to those completing their subspecialty fellowships, while Dr. Kerr conferred diplomas to residents matriculating to the next phase of their medical careers. Outstanding teachers were awarded by the residents, as well: Dr. Aaron Waite received the Philip M. Lewis teaching award and Dr. Andreea Partal received the Roger L. Hiatt teaching award. The Department of Ophthalmology also awarded the Distinguished Alumnus Award to Dr. James C. Hart, Jr., and the Distinguished Service Award to Tracy Speake, Alison Long, and the students of Germantown High School TV.
