More than 200 people converged at Shelby Farms Park this October for the 8th Annual Memphis VisionWalk benefiting the Foundation Fighting Blindness (FFB). The event was chaired by Janice Caudill and Roseanna Behrman, and organized by Memphis FFB Chapter President and HEI faculty member Alessandro Iannaccone, MD, MS, and FFB Event Manager Steve Sroka. HEI Hiatt Professor of Ophthalmology Natalie C. Kerr, MD, FACS, also participated.

The weather was beautiful, and there was plenty of family fun and entertainment at the event, including a face painter, bounce house, music and food. More than $13,000 has been raised so far by this year's walk, and contributions are still coming in.

If you would like to get involved in next year's walk, please visit the Memphis VisionWalk website or contact Steve Sroka at (847) 680-0100.
