We are pleased you are interested in the graduate program in Clinical Laboratory Sciences at the University of Tennessee, Memphis! Three tracks are offered to obtain a Master of Science in Clinical Laboratory Science.

Clinical Laboratory Science – M.S.

Advanced Practice Track

The program is a career entry-level curriculum for students with a B.S. degree in biology or chemistry and desire to enter a career in the clinical laboratory. The program provides the necessary educational experiences for the student to qualify for national certification as a medical technologist/clinical laboratory scientist and to apply for a Tennessee license to practice as a clinical laboratory professional. In addition to their B.S. degree requirements, qualified students must have successfully completed with a “C” or better the specific courses required for medical technology.
