The 19th Annual Sol Adler Memorial Conference
Call for Papers
This year, the Sol Adler Memorial Conference would like to highlight student research, via poster presentations. Posters on any aspect of Speech, language, hearing, and cognition will be considered.
Deadline for Poster Submission: March 1, 2013.
Deadline for Notification: March 15, 2013.
Specific Submission Guidelines for Poster Presentations
Submissions will be web-based and requires identifying information, an abstract and a summary of the research. The poster submission deadline is March 1, 2013. You can prepare the identifying information and abstract on your word processor and cut and paste it into the online form.
The following three sections must be completed for your submission to be considered:
- Identifying Information
Include the following information:
- Contact person
- Contact's address
- Contact's telephone and fax number
- Contact's email address
- Presentation title - as you would like it to appear in the conference program
- Names of all authors with affiliations
IMPORTANT: If contact person is an author, his/her name and affiliation MUST be entered in the author section.
*All communication with the conference coordinator will be through the designated contact person.
- The Abstract
Provide a concise abstract (150-words) describes the rationale, methods, results, and conclusions of the presentation.
If your submission is accepted this abstract will be published, as is, on the SAMC web site and printed in the conference program. Do not exceed 150 words.
- The Summary
The summary should include the background/rationale, methods, analysis/results, and discussion. Do not exceed 600 words.
Your summary will be reviewed to judge the quality of the research. Please make sure it is clearly written.
An email will be sent to the designated contact person indicating that the submission was received.
Decisions about poster acceptance will be sent out by March 15th to the designated contact person.
