College of Nursing
The College of Nursing is proud to offer exceptional programs that lead to a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree, a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree with preparation for Clinical Nurse Leader certification, and a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree. The DNP offers options leading to the preparation of students as Adult Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioners, Family Nurse Practitioners, Family Psych/Mental Health Nurse Practitioners, Neonatal Nurse Practitioners, Nurse Anesthetists, and Pediatric Nurse Practitioners. The Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Nursing Science is offered through the UTHSC College of Graduate Health Sciences, and the DNP/PhD program is a dual degree program that is based both in the College of Nursing and the College of Graduate Health Sciences.
